About C17300 Leaded Beryllium Copper
Cube2Pb--C17300 (CDA 173) Leaded Beryllium Copper is identical to the leaded alloy C17200 and has the same excellent strength after hardening. C17300 bars contain a small amount of lead to provide an alloy suitable for automatic machining operations, where the lead promotes the formation of fine chips, which prolongs the life of cutting tools.
