5052 alloy aluminum plate is widely used in occasions with high requirements for plasticity and good weldability, working in liquid or gaseous media, as low-load parts such as mailboxes, gas or oil pipes, various other liquid containers, and manufacturing small-load parts such as rivets. It is also commonly used in stampings, instruments, street lamp brackets and electrical housings for transportation vehicles and ships. Since 5052 also has excellent corrosion resistance, especially in marine atmospheres, it is often used in ships, ship parts, fuel and oil pipes.

Differentiate aluminum plates between alloy 5052 and alloy 1060
Hardness: The tensile strength of alloy 1060 is 110-130, while the tensile strength of alloy 5052 is 210-230. This means that alloy 5052 is much harder than alloy 1060.
Elongation: Alloy 1060 is 5%, while alloy 5052 is 12%-20%, which means that alloy 5052 is harder than alloy 1016 in this case, and the elongation of alloy 5052 is increased by 200%.
Chemical properties: 1060 alloy is pure aluminum, 5052 alloy is aluminum-magnesium alloy, and 5052 alloy has better corrosion resistance in special cases.
