Aluminum Alloy 5083
Types: Aluminum 5083-H321, UNS A95083, ISO AlMg4.5Mn, Aluminum 5083-H116, Aluminum 5083-H321, AA5083-H116
5083 aluminum alloy is known for its excellent performance in the most extreme environments. The alloy is highly resistant to both seawater and industrial chemical environments. It has the highest strength of the non-heat-treatable alloys, but is not recommended for use at temperatures above 65°C.
Good weldability
5083 aluminum alloy has good overall mechanical properties, thanks to good weldability, and it retains its strength after welding. The material combines excellent ductility with good formability and performs well in cryogenic service.
