ASTM A672 B60/B70/C60/C65/C70 LSAW (JCOE) Carbon Steel Pipe is used for high pressure conditions, mainly used in power plants, offshore oil industry, chemical industry, fertilizer, petrochemical, refineries, etc.
Size: OD 10-660mm, wall thickness 1.0-100mm
Length: fixed length 5.8m, 6m, 11.8m or customized.
End face: flat end/bevel end, groove, thread, etc.
Coating: varnish coating, hot dip galvanizing, three-layer PE, fusion bonded epoxy (FBE), etc.
Process: submerged arc welding.
Manufacturing Process:
ASTM A672 B60/B70/C60/C65/C70 LSAW (JCOE) Carbon Steel Pipe shall be welded with duplex, full penetration welds and shall be welded in accordance with procedures by qualified welders or welding operators meeting the requirements of Section IX of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
Heat Treatment:
All grades except 10, 11, 12 and 13 shall be heat treated in a furnace controlled at ±15°C and equipped with a recording hydrometer to record the heating.

Grade: B60, C60, C65, etc.
Length: 3-12M or specified length as required.
Ends: Plain End, Beveled End, Grooved.

Mechanical property tests for ASTM A672 B60/B70/C60/C65/C70 straight seam submerged arc welded carbon steel pipe:
Tensile test - The transverse tensile properties of the welded joint shall meet the minimum requirements of the specified plate ultimate tensile strength.
Transverse guided weld bend test - The bend test is qualified if there are no cracks or other defects exceeding 1/8 inch (3 mm) in any direction in the weld metal or between the weld and the parent material after bending.
Radiographic inspection - The full length of X1 and X2 grade welds shall be radiographically inspected in accordance with the requirements of UW-51, Chapter 7 of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
Appearance of ASTM A672 B60/B70/C60/C65/C70 straight seam submerged arc welded carbon steel pipe:
The finished pipe shall be free of any harmful defects and the surface shall be smooth and clean as new.
ASTM A672 B60/B70/C60/C65/C70 LSAW carbon steel pipe packaging:
● Bare pipe or black pipe/varnish/epoxy/three-layer polyethylene (according to customer requirements);
● Pipes of 6 inches and below are tied with two cotton slings;
● End protectors at both ends;
● Flat end, bevel end (2 inches and above are bevel ends, angle: 30~35°), thread and coupling;
