How about Alloy steel plate

Jun 22, 2022

Product Description:

CSC Steel supplies 3 main structural low alloy steel sheets (high and medium strength): 16Mn, 15MnVN and low carbon bainitic steels. The main standards include GB/T1591-94, JIS G3106, JIS G3101, DIN17100, ASTM A572M, EN10025, etc.

16 million is the main steel grade of high-strength low-alloy steel plate in most industries, and the consumption of this type is very large. Its strength is 20%~30% higher than ordinary carbon structural steel Q235, and its atmospheric corrosion resistance is 20%~38%.

15 MNVN is mainly used as medium strength steel plate. It has the characteristics of high strength and toughness, good weldability and low temperature toughness, and is widely used in the manufacture of large structural parts such as bridges, boilers and ships.

The strength grade is above 500Mpa, and the low-carbon alloy steel plate cannot meet the requirements, and the low-carbon bainite steel plate is developed. Adding Cr, Mo, Mn, B and other elements helps the steel plate to form a bainite structure, making it have higher strength, plasticity and good welding performance, and is mostly used in high-pressure boilers, pressure vessels, etc.

Alloy steel plates are mainly used to build bridges, ships, vehicles, boilers, pressure vessels, oil pipelines, and large steel structures.

Performance requirements:

High strength: the yield strength is greater than 300 MPa.

High resilience: elongation is required to be 15% to 20%, and impact toughness at room temperature is greater than 600 kj/m to 800 kj/m. For large welded components, high fracture toughness is also required.

Good weldability and cold formability.

Toughness - low brittle transition temperature.

Good corrosion resistance.

Application:

  •  GB/T1591-94: High-strength low-alloy structural steel.
  •  GB/T16270: Carbon and low-alloy high-strength steel plates.
  •  JIS G3106: High Strength Structural Steel Plates for Bridge, Highway Construction and Other Engineering Construction.
  •  JIS G3101: High-strength steel plates for shipbuilding and bridges.
  •  DIN 17100: EN standard steel plates used in the construction of ships and bridges are high-strength steel plates.
  •  DIN 17102: High-strength steel sheets in the production of reactors, heat exchangers, separators, tanks, gas storage tanks, nuclear reactor pressure vessels, boilers, etc.
  •  ASTM A572M: High Strength Low Alloy Niobium Vanadium Structural Steel.
  •  ASTM A633M: High Strength Low Alloy Structural Steel Plates for Welded, Riveted or Bolted Construction.
  •  EN10025: Hot-rolled products of structural steel.
  •  EN10113: Hot-rolled products in weldable fine-grained structural steels.
