Grade 5 titanium alloy/Ti6Al4V PIPE
Grade 5 titanium alloys are considered the workhorses of the titanium alloy industry. It is a fully heat-treatable alloy that can be quickly welded to form parts for aerospace machines as well as marine and offshore applications. It is one of the key components of many ship engine components.

It is harder and has the same thermal properties as pure commercial titanium. It also has excellent fatigue resistance and low thermal expansion, making it suitable for use in the subsea gas and oil industry.

Titanium Grade 5 (Ti6Al-4V) is the most commonly used alloy. Ti6Al4V is significantly stronger than other commercially pure titanium whilst still retaining the same stiffness and thermal properties (excluding thermal conductivity). Titanium Grade 5 extensively used in Aerospace, Medical, Marine and Chemical Processing.
