ASTM A179 Cold Drawn Carbon Steel Pipe Specification
ASTM A179 covers minimum wall thickness seamless cold drawn mild steel tubing for use in tubing, heat exchangers, condensers, and other heat transfer equipment. Seamless ASTM A 179 steel pipes are supplied and produced using cold drawn method. The chemical composition contains carbon, manganese, phosphorus, and sulfur. Required tests: hardness test, flattening test, flaring test, flange test, hydraulic pressure test.
ASTM A179 seamless carbon pipes produced by Sinosteel Group have the following advantages: high dimensional accuracy, high strength, good corrosion resistance, and good finish. ASTM A179 pipe is delivered in annealed, normalized, normalized and tempered conditions. CSC STEEL also provides value-added manufacturing services: beveling, black oil finishing, galvanized surface treatment, anti-corrosion oil, machining.
CSC STEEL offers ASTM A179 specifications of low temperature seamless carbon steel pipes, product types: cold drawn cut length or U-tube (bent for heat exchanger applications), specially designed for critical projects such as refineries, power plants, Newclear Power, Fossil etc. Used to manufacture fuel power plants.
